Once upon a time there was a young girl named Christina from South Dakota who wanted to travel the world. As one of 10 kids from a humble but musically talented family she wasn't exactly sure how she was going to achieve her dream but she was determined to make it happen, She performed in a family band with her father and siblings for years until she decided it was time for something more. After 10 years of playing in regional clubs and bars she left the band to pursue her dreams in Los Angeles. She had successes - signed to Warner Chappell as a songwriter, made a solo record, sang with icons like Ringo Starr, toured the world as a background signer with Latin artists for gigantic crowds. She got to see the world, She eventually ran a small record label, production company and internationally syndicated radio show and produced PBS concert specials. Deciding it was time for a break she thought a step down in responsibilities was the next step so she answered an ad in the Hollywood Reporter for an Apollo astronaut. Thinking this would make life more simple little did she know it was a whole new round of adventures around the world.
I've traveled the world as a singer, producer, tour manager and as an Astronaut Wrangler. Now my focus is on producing ground breaking, mass participation experiential artworks and event that focus on people. Being part of something bigger than oneself is more meaningful than going it alone,
I'm very lucky to be doing what I love as my profession. This job allows me to travel and meet interesting new people all the time. I hope we are able to make leaps together in different parts of the world.
Will you take the leap?
